UP Bike Tour - Day -1 - Riding Around Winnetka

 It was a cool morning today, with light rain. I rode around Winnetka, IL, where my sister lives. I was flying right along due to the flat terrain and cool conditions, so I was bad about taking pictures.

Here's my bike on the patio behind my sister Kate's house, waiting to go.

An hour and a half of pleasant riding later, I'm hanging out in Wilmette, the next town over, waiting for my lunch stop to open.

Which was Ni's Kitchen, a classic hole-in-the-wall pho shop.

The Pho was tasty.

I spent the afternoon waiting for my other sister to arrive from Dayton. Then we all went out for some authentic Chicago deep dish pizza.
